Custom accessories and jewelry from ArmStreet: a guide to your personalized items December 17, 2024 Many years ago, ArmStreet started as a tailor-made medieval clothing shop, slowly expanding our product line to one of the biggest on the market. While our formative years were full of crazy projects, later on we've been mostly focused on organizing a workflow for our most popular segment. But at some point, we realized that we miss the joy of making stuff in collaboration with our customers — so we need to let them know that we are open to it. Standard design — materials and color options First things first, check the available options in our “custom” tab — more colors and materials are sometimes present. That might be the easiest way to expand your options! Click “more colors” to browse those. Fig. 1. “Custom” tab Fig. 2. Available materials and color options Standard design — extra material and color options While for some of our new products, we offer a full palette of materials and colors (from steel and brass buckle options to multiple leather colors), for our older models, a lot of potentially available combinations are not on the website — for various reasons, but it's never bad to ask! We are usually willing to go the extra mile for you if it's technically possible and materials are available. Fig. 3. XV Century Leather Belt “Diamond” in black leather Fig. 4. We use a lot of technologies, and love combining them. But sometimes your fictional character, historical references, or personal choices dictate the necessity to make something simple. So, if the question is: “May I have it without etching?”, “Can it be made of plain leather with no embossing?” or “Is it possible without enameling?” — the answer most likely will be “Yes”, so don't hesitate to ask. The same bag in beige leather w/o embossing Standard design — different finish, borders and trims We use a bunch of different technologies to create our items, and they are all in your possession if you understand how they work. Sometimes a gentle touch can change the impression. So what we have so far: Embossing; Chemical brass and steel darkening, especially etched patterns; Custom etching; Custom embossing; Your team or guild insignia on elements; Making the same design without etching, embossing, or enamel; Adding etching and/or enameling; Darkening metal with a chemical finish; Brass (golden) or steel (silver).
