A new addition to the Viking series at ArmStreet, a cast brass cloak brooch, features a unique knotwork design. Like many items in the “Viking” and “Shieldmaiden” collections, it has no exact historical prototype, but draws inspiration from archeological findings and historical references. As a result you receive outstanding accessory that fits perfectly well the rest of your Viking persona attire.

Cloak clasps were an important part of Viking outfits, as their outwear (as well as many other pieces of ancient wardrobe) were pretty simple. A fibula was the easiest way to turn a woolen blanket or a piece of fur into a cloak and be protected from the elements.

This eye-catching fibula looks attuned with the Viking Woolen Cloak “Hilda” – the embroidered motif and a brass brooch perfectly complement each other.
