Blackened Spring Steel Armor
You should never trust the Dark Star, but learn everything you can from her. There isn’t a more adept swordsperson, strategist or duelist in the kingdom, and those are skills she’s earned with hard work and sheer force of will. With a razor-sharp smile and wit like a cracked whip, going toe to toe with her is likely one of the most difficult yet rewarding experiences you will ever have. Don’t go in thinking you’ll become her protégé, though – the Dark Star takes no apprentice. After all, when the world is your student, why do you need a squire?
Have you fallen in love with her, yet? This fantastic new armor is our first full plate harness meant for the female figure. Tough, robust, yet otherworldly light, we have used a new material for us to craft this beauty: spring steel. This collection has taken a ton of engineering, experiments, failures, and design in order to get right, and we couldn’t be more proud of this stunning result. We hope that you find Dark Star just as breathtaking as we do!
Female Armor for SCA or LARP
This whole harness is perfect for SCA or LARP combat as it is lightweight and provides a decent amount of protection at no loss of mobility. It is historically inspired, but as usual, we have taken artistic liberty and made it even more beautiful than anything you will ever see in a manuscript.
Female Armour Kit includes:
This full set consists of three pieces – a cuirass, arms with integrated pauldrons, and cuisses. The whole set is made from 1.2mm spring steel, with smaller lames made from 1mm. It is blackened, meaning it will hold up well to rust, as well as having a beautiful tone to it that you cannot get from any other process. Quality leather is used for all of the straps that hold the pieces together, as well as edging around the outside of the armor. Solid brass rivets have been used, and cast brass buckles as well. Adding to the overall quality look of this set of armor.
Breastplate
The breastplate is a triumph of blacksmithing. Flawlessly articulated, it provides you with a ton of protection, but still allows you to move around, which is vital in a fight. It is inspired by Gothic armor, following the same tapered shape at the back that you will find in a lot of harnesses. The lames follow a pointed shape, adding some visual interest to the whole design of the cuirass and making it quite the spectacle to look at. Two tassets attach at the bottom to bridge the gap between your cuirass and the leg harness.

Arm harness
The arm harness comes with integrated pauldrons. The biceps, elbow cops, and forearm are separate elements, with the pauldrons attached to rerebrace. The vambrace, cop, and rerebrace are all connected with leather thonging, meaning you can wear each part individually if need be. The bracer is full-wrap, closing with a leather strap on one side and a hinge on the other. The cop provides decent coverage of your inner arm, and the rerebrace covers the outside of the arm, leaving you with lots of movement. The whole piece is excellently articulated and beautiful in a way that none of our arm armor has been before.
Leg harness
The leg harness for this collection is versatile, fitted and sleek. It does not cover your lower leg, and finishes just below the knee in a well-articulated knee piece. The cuisses fit your thighs closely and sport a small set of fans to protect you without getting in the way. This harness only covers the front of your leg, meaning it is light, easy to maneuver in, and protects you in the most vital spots.
As we've designed the cuirass from this armour kit in fixed sizes only according to our regular size chart, the chest circumference is limited with 120 cm (47 1/2"). Please ensure to take measurements carefully for all aspects of this set – it is quite closely fitted, so we will need your exact measurements, including whichever gambeson or mail you wish to wear underneath.
Please note: helmet and other items shown in the pictures, like finger gauntlets, chainmail or plate gorgets, as well as the gambeson are not included in this kit, but they are available in our store.

IMPORTANT: To fit correctly and prevent injury, a suit of armour must be accurately built to the measurements of the person wearing it. PLEASE take all measurements over either the gambeson or under-padding you are planning to wear with this armour. The sole exception is for persons buying armour and padding together, ArmStreet will then make the proper size adjustments for the armour based on the measurements provided for the padding.

Yes, we can make it per male measurements. The cuirass will be flat in this case.
Got this armour and I love it. Just one question - when are you likely to make some women's trousers? I love the pair worn by the model and I really want to get my hands on them to complete the look.

This armor is absolutely stunning and I can't wait to purchase it. I wish there weren't such a gatekeepers community that are against armor with defined breasts. If you do HEMA stuff and are concerned about shock transfer you can request the boobless version. I wish people would leave it up to the individual to decide if they want armor with breasts or not and then let them enjoy their personal decision without horribly snide comments. Personally I think it's reasonable, protective and it shows the fantasy/medieval community has come a long way into accepting that women want to wear medieval armor that isn't a metal bikini. Roman armor has defined pecs and there were massive codpieces historically and nobody cares. No it's not historically accurate, however women were burned at the stake and had hardly any legal rights so i think it's as accurate as possible. It's exciting to see the hard work of the armstreet team make this suit of beautiful armor possible. I've been wearing plate armor made for men that dig into my hips and shoulders for fifteen years now and can't wait to run amok in this set. Boobs or no, this armor is fantastically designed and a gorgeous work of art.

Hi. I was wondering if it would be possible to get this custom fitted in a men's design and if not if it would be possible to get a different design in this material. I really like the aesthetic of the black spring steel but if there isn't this design could I get the paladin design in the black spring steel?
All parts of this armor set can be made for a man, except for the cuirass. You may select any other cuirass for this set or visby coat of plates.

Hi David, the whole set can be made in custom size for a man, except for the cuirass. You may order some other cuirass or brigandine for the set.
