I have the woollen rus-pants as well and wear them all for daily use, loving the unique design and the attention to detail in the sewing. The string to tie with wore out quickly on the woollen one so I expect to have to replace it here as well.

Bought these pants a few months ago for an event I was attending in late October. Pants felt wonderful and looked even better. Lots of compliments on them! My only issue and the reason for a 4-star rating was the stitching; said stitching around the base of the trouser ripped every time I put my foot through until it was a fairly sizable hole. Likewise the area just under the crotch also ripped. I don't feel as though I was too rough on them but I very well could have been. At any rate I am in the process of stitching them back into place and will update at a later date.

Love the pants. As with all Armstreet clothing I’ve purchased, the fit is exactly as listed on their fit chart. These pants in particular have that trademark Slavic ultra baggy upper portion. The colour and construction was fantastic. Can’t go wrong with Armstreet products.

Just received the pants yesterday and i can't say enough good things about them. The quality of workmanship and materials is excellent. The fit is great, and be assured they are functional pants, no cheap costume quality here. Service was perfect as well. I would buy again and you should too. Also forgot to mention, the pants come in a very nice linen bag for storage, which is a plus.

Do you sell leg wraps that could be used with these if I prefer to wear them barefoot?

What is the turnaround time if order custom fits? I'm 6'2", 52" waist, 54-56" chest, 18" neck. Wedding May 10th.

Hello. I'm wondering if these pants can be tailored for a woman's shape (i.e.: smaller waist, shorter crotch, curvy thigh/hips/bottom)? If so, how do I request the modification and is there an additional charge?
The pants pattern cannot be changed, sorry. But, the pants are kind of unisex, actually. If you choose custom size, just enter your measurements and we`ll make the pants according to them.
What are the care instructions, do I wash in cold or hot, will they shrink? Do I hand wash?

Hi was wondering if linen viking pants XXL size would fit for 48 in waist?
Yes, size XXL should fit for Waist 45 1/3–50 1/2, Hips 48–52 and Inseam 29 1/5. Also we always add some give for freedom of movements and shrinkage of linen!
Question regarding your viking linen pants. what would you say the warmth rating is on these...would they be comfortable to wear all year? Would you recommend something under in cooler temps? Thanks in advance for the information
Flax linen feels cool to wear in the heat, but it is not too warm, so probably not the best choice for late Autumn or early Spring. We have some woolen pants like this:
- Woolen Chausses Renaissance Medieval Pants
- Medieval Hosen “Hound Of War”
They are actually quite warm as they are made of natural wool, but the style is different.
Hi members of Armstreet, I have a question about these Linen Viking Pants. I was wondering if it is possible to make these trousers to have more of the upper wavy wide part and the hosen part only to be around the ankles? I would really like to hear your response Kind Regards, Maurice
Technically, this modification is possible, but we cannot guarantee the look as we`ve never done that before. That will cost $30.00 extra as we`ll need to use more material.
Please give us the exact length of the hosen part you`d like to get and the length of the wide part preferred. You can add this info to the comments to your order and we`ll contact you about paying the extra once we receive the order.
