As well as other kids clothing from our “Fireside Family” collection, this overtunic follows the idea of the whole series - it's simple, it has one of the most recognizable medieval silhouettes attributed to the XI-XII century, and accents here play a very humble but important role, showing the quality of the craftsmanship without saying anything about owner's status.

This overtunic is slightly shorter than others from this series. It is decorated with a simple trim and has lacing on the shoulders, which makes it flexible in terms of sizing. It will be a great second or third layer for more official occasions and at the same time, no one can stop your kid from using it as the only clothing when the weather is hot. Short sleeves with slits will do the same job: give the owner some room for undertunic when necessary and create some extra breathability when they need it

With some new linen colors, organic fabric, and trim that imitates early medieval handmade styles we are getting a very versatile piece for your kid's basic medieval clothing wardrobe.

The round neckline is quite wide. To ensure that your child can fit their head through comfortably without the neckline being too wide and falling off their shoulders, sizes 98-128 of this dress also include eyelets and lacing at the left shoulder and sizes 134-152 include lacing at both shoulders.
