It’s hard to resist the beauty of Gothic medieval armor. Well designed, this armor has sleek lines and a beautiful, clean aesthetic, and is an absolute pleasure to fight in. One of the reasons it is revered as an excellent design is the multitude of smoothly articulated plates, which make it easy to move in. Gothic armor can be found in many different museums all over the world, on display to be admired by historians and the general public alike.

While we love observing armor, there is something that’s even better: wearing it! This is why we have put so much time and effort into creating this perfectly functional and visually stunning set of armor. Each and every piece works well together to create a fantastic finished product that will make you the envy of all of your friends. This is actually the third suit of Gothic armor we have made – over the years we have worked hard to improve upon our previous designs and to create the best armor on the market.

These sabatons provide you with the foot protection you’ve been dreaming of. They are designed to work with our full-wrap Gothic greaves, and carry all of the same luxurious details that can be found in the rest of the armor. On the inside of the sabaton, you will find a hinge, whereas on the other side you will find a robust leather strap and buckle to secure the armor once your foot is inside of it. There is ample articulation throughout this sabaton, meaning you can move your foot naturally and perform all of your required footwork in your sword fights without worrying about your foot being damaged. The most impressive aspect is probably the fluting at the top of the foot, which adds a decorative touch that still blends in with the practical use of the armor.

We have constructed these sabatons with premium materials, such as stainless steel, solid brass rivets, and natural leather straps. The buckle on the side of the sabaton is hand cast and made from brass, and all of the rivets are peened over washers at the back to ensure strong construction. All articulated points are reinforced with leather at the back. We have two choices of surface finish for you to choose from. Mirror finish is very shiny and provides you with a very reflective surface, just like a knight in shining armor. Our satin finish is just as beautiful but the opposite - it offers a matte look that is a little bit more subdued. We can also make these sabatons in mild steel, though we highly recommend choosing stainless for its rust-resistant nature.
