Leg Armor “Prince of the East”

Eastern greaves and knees, 16-17th cc.

These greaves are part of our “Prince of the East” armor kit which is based on Middle East XVI-XVII century armor and research of Tower, London, and Kremlin Armory eastern armor collections. From now 3-pieces greaves are our choice as most functional leg protection. This design is relatively complicated with anatomically dished side plates and long side bone plate. It gives great flexibility of movements and looks both beautiful and authentic. Greaves come with cops that can be laced to the greaves and also have upper holes to lace the whole set to your armoring pants, which protects them from sliding down.

Made of 16 ga stainless steel decorated with perfect quality etching and completed with brass bordering. Every piece of these greaves is made with love and fits each other. Solid steel and brass rivets used.

• 16 ga (1.5 mm stainless steel)
• Some in-between elements might be made of lighter gauge for better maneuverability

• Handmade casting buckles and decorative rivets

• Techniques: cold-forging, electroplating, hand polishing

The only exception is when you are ordering both armour and padding from our company — in this case you can send us your body measurements. For sabatons please send your footwear actual measurements.
