Mens Viking tunic inspired by Kragelund Mose findings

Viking costume, like most medieval costumes, features layering. And beneath the main mens Viking tunic lies the hidden base layer of fine flax linen undertunic. It plays an important role in thermoregulation, moisture circulation, sensitive skin protection and keeping the fancy outer layer Viking tunics clean. But aside from that, it is an incredibly versatile piece on its own: use it as sleepwear, swimwear, or working clothing while forging your next sword or axe. Hanging out with friends in your encampment during the hot summer days is also an option, as long as they are ok with you wearing just your Viking underwear. Given how many ways there are to use it, we'd recommend buying a few and elevating your camping experience to a new level of comfort.

Though it appears quite simple, this male tunic's pattern has a long history. As a source of inspiration, we've used a design found on a body in a Danish bog at Kragelund Mose. It is less widely known as a classic T-shape tunic, but is very comfortable and fits different bodies incredibly well. Note the sleeves' fit, which allows for greater arm freedom of movement – something you definitely appreciate while swinging a sword or a hammer.
