Colored Chemise “Found Princess”
Florentine voile chemise | trendy colors
Lately, the fashion world was blown with subtle airy colors: light mint and rose quartz. Their popularity is growing year by, which means come-back of gentle and attractive shades, resonating with paintings by Botticelli, Piero di Cosimo and other Florentine artists of the 15th century. We confess our team is fond of fashion in all its aspects, both modern and medieval, so we’re excited to present period chemises in colours which are as trendy now as they were in bygone eras. Their cut and marquisette fabriс are identical to the original white shirt, but the range of colors was expanded.
Light mint shade combines pale blue and emerald tones. Choosing it, think of cool shades of menthol, sea foam, and light turquoise. We recommend combining the light mint chemise with green and blue dresses or wearing as a separate piece.
Rose quartz chemise is the quintessence of femininity and romance. This lovely powdery shade resembles a tea rose, marshmallow and sea shells. Regardless of age and seasonal colour, rose quartz chemise will perfectly complement any red or burgundy dress.
Well, we've saved the sweetest gift for last. Oh yes, ladies, now this very fine marquisette chemise can be purchased in the most royal color of all, and here we mean black. Top it off, black voile perfectly underlines the decollete strewn with silver bugles.
Do not deny yourself the pleasure of trying a trendy color chemise, subtle shades are very versatile: they fit both swarthy and fair beauties. Fashion encourages us to play and creativity - so let’s play with history and create our own!
Please note, manufacturing of the chemise for full height 5'9" (175 cm) and taller will take somewhat longer than usual. The cut will be slightly adjusted to achieve the best fit.

Jenny 20 of May 2020:
I love this chemise. It feels so light and airy. And the fabric is super soft. The beaded embroidery in particular is incredibly well made. I ordered the chemise in cherry red and the advantage is that it is opaque enough to wear as a dress. One big disadvantage I had with this chemise at the beginning was that it was too long. Even with shoes on, I tripped over the fabric (and I had my height right). I had to have it professionally shortened. But as soon as I could walk in the chemise, I was over the moon.

How should I wash this chemise?
Please wash it gently with hands in warm water with soap or you may give it to the dry cleanners.
Do you have any example of the lilac marquisette? I am still looking for a restock of a good color for the Princess in Exile burgundy dress.
The picture is sent to your email address.
How comfortable or practical would this chemise be as a nightdress?
Hello, you may surely use it as a nightgown, but we cannot guarantee it will be very comfortable, because this chemise has a pretty wide skirt and multiple pleats.
Is it possible to leave off the beads, or to simply leave them off on the back of the neckline? I have very long hair and it easily gets caught and tangled in beads like this.
Yes, we can make it without the beads, please simply leave this request in the comment section to your order.
Hi, I'm wondering if you'll have the black marquisette available again anytime soon?
Hi Stephanie, we should have it back soon, but there is no ETA, unfortunately.
I understand neither the rose quartz or cherry marquisette are likely to return- Will any new variation of pink for this chemise be available in the future? If not, is it possible for me to dye the chemise pink myself? I'm unsure if the voile can hold dye.
Dear Samantha, we are happy to inform you that we have a limited amount of rose marquisette available.
Please bring the Rose Quartz color back!
Dear Lauren, we are happy to inform you that we have a limited amount of Rose Quartz marquisette available at the moment.
How do I order the black chemise pictured?
Hi Nicole, we are out of black marquisette at the moment, unfortunately.
What is the Found Princess Chemise made from?
Hi Cate! It is made of marquisette (50% cotton and 50% silk)
Voile is traditionally cotton, wool, or silk, and modern voile might have poly or other blends. I can’t find an indication of the fiber content in the description or details above. Can you clarify?
Hi Leslie! it is a marquisette chemise. Marquisette is 50% cotton and 50% silk.
