Medieval leather shoes for children

Well, we knew that making footwear for kids will bring a lot of challenges but we also knew that sometimes our small customers are very sensitive to their look. So, we felt obliged to provide them with a possibility to be "medieval" head to toe.

Making footwear for kids is very complicated, making medieval footwear for kids is one step from being impossible. Ancient footwear, originally, was way less comfortable and way rougher than what we are used to nowadays. So we tried to find the best balance in order to make them look well and be a little bit cozier than their medieval prototype.

These shoes are made of leather and have a leather lining inside and a latex softening layer between them. However, the insole is flat so we recommend getting used to them step by step, starting from a very limited time, and do not recommend wearing them all the time. Our modern feet are too soft for this, especially when it comes to kids, so make sure your kids don't rub their feet too hard.

We used a micropore outsole that imitates the look of leather but is softer and protects your feet better when walking and running.

These shoes look great and will work great if you pay attention to proper sizing, comfortable socks, and some extra time your kids need to get used to them. On the other hand, be very cautious about it and check your kid's feet condition regularly and ask them how do they feel to prevent any kind of unpleasantness, especially when the shoes are freshly bought.
