Medieval XIV Century Leather Shoes
Knight medieval boots
This is our version of XIV century style ankle-high boots. These boots are reliable and they will work perfectly as your under armor fighting boots. They are made of sturdy leather and supplied with a thin modern rubber sole ("vibrum") to prevent you from slipping on different surfaces. "Vibrum" sole is glued up to the natural leather sole. it has natural color so it looks like multi-layered leather sole even from close distance keeping modern nature of external sole in secret.
These boots have 3 handmade casting clasps for slim-fit size adjustment and relatively narrow ankle area which makes them perfect to be worn under leg armor like greaves.
Important note about measurements: Please be accurate taking measurements – that influences very much at our ability to make the item that will suit you perfectly. Also, you should remember that natural leather is soft material and it will stretch so when you are getting your shoes it is normal that it fits very slim. It will get your feet shape after one or two days of usage.
Please contact us if you have any additional questions.
Important note: Brown, Natural and Cream leather shades may vary, as unfortunately we can't control color of leather which comes from our suppliers. Sometimes it may be darker or lighter, so if tone of the leather is important factor for you, please contact us before purchase to ascertain which color exactly we have in stock at the moment. Thank you for understanding.

Fantastic shoes, very comfortable and fit me well. Great with greaves, the lower edges of the greaves sit nicely on the leather and it becomes comfortable when wearing leg armor for a long time compared to other shoes I've worn. I got the matte brown option. They look so good in my opinion. Also very easy to move in. Can't think of any complaints.

I bought a size 8 and they fit just like a size 8. Looks just like the picture. Excellent craftsmanship. My only complaint is that the prong on the buckles is a bit long so the leather straps need to be stretched a bit to put them on.

These were my first Armstreet footwear purchase and I was a little hesitant because I need to fit custom orthotics in my medieval shoes. Although there were originally some sizing issues, Armstreet was quick to respond to feedback and provided great advice throughout the process. Even my podiatrist was impressed by the construction!

Hello, is it possible to order these in brown or dark brown leather? Thank you.
Hi Preben, these boots can be purchased in black or light brown leather only, unfortunately.
Is it possible to make sizes larger than mens 13?
It might be possible but needs to be discussed with our shoemaker. Please let us know the following measurements: foot length, foot circumference, instep, heel, ankle, calf. Use our measurements guide to avoid mistakes.
Also, it would be just great if you could take pictures while measuring, so we could see your feet and check if the measurements are taken properly.
Greetings! I was just wondering, specifically what leather do you use? As in is the leather derived from cattle, goat, sheep, or pigskin? Thank you!
Mostly we use cattlehide.
Hello, I was wondering if you can make these boots in Faux Leather instead of Leather? medieval-leather-ankle-high-knight-shoes-boots I would like them in black if you can do it. How much would you charge me for a set if you can make them? Also what is the current turn around? Thanks in advance Andrew
For technical reasons, we don't work with faux leather, sorry.
