Medieval Leg Armor “Mythical Beasts”
Articulated cuisses with removable rondel
This leg harness has been inspired by a time period marked as a transitional stage in history. Between the XIV-XV centuries, armor became sleeker, more flexible and more aesthetically stunning. The original basis for this piece came from our older “Paladin” collection, which we have worked hard to improve upon and make even better. Our years of armoring experience have paid off and we have finally created a leg harness that is more refined, easier to move in, and of course, looks fantastic. As an added bonus we have also included removable rondels, meaning every rondel in the “Mythical Beasts” collection can be removed via a screw and replaced with something that suits your mood better.
From the “Paladin” legs, we have added a bit more extra articulation. There is a new piece at the very top of the leg harness, which then connects to the rest of the cuisses, providing you with a little bit of extra movement which actually makes a huge difference. The harness does up with hinges on the outside and leather straps with buckles on the inside to make sure it is fitting well. From the main piece of the cuisses, two more lames connect it to the robust knee cop, which includes a round rondel to protect your inner knee from wrap shots. From here, the rest of the harness extends for a few more lames just to give you a little bit of added protection. Overall, we feel that this harness efficiently covers your leg without sacrificing your ability to move.
Some people have difficulty seeing passed the beautiful etching of this piece and claim that it is too gorgeous to fight in! We wholeheartedly disagree and think that the etching becomes even more beautiful as it ages and becomes battle-worn. The etching is deep and clear, as we have been working to perfect this technology over the years, and are very proud of the finished result. The designs you’ll find on this armor have been created by our team of designer and are exclusive to ArmStreet, meaning you won’t find them anywhere else. Skulls are the main event along the borders of the armor, with a floral motif making an appearance on the rondels. Of course, as mentioned earlier, we did make these rondels removable so that you can replace them with something a little bit more fearsome and exciting. The options you will find for this are a number of beasts and creatures taken from legends around the world. If you have something very specific in mind, though, please get in contact with us and we can see what we can do.
We have proudly made this piece of armor with high-quality materials that will stand the test of time. Strong leather has been used throughout, as well as medieval buckles (which look fantastic compared to modern ones). We have ensured that all edges are well finishes and either rolled or rounded off. We have used stainless steel to create this item which is rust resistant and easy to take care of, making this the perfect piece to wear to a fight, wipe down afterward, and throw back into your bag for next time. We expect this item to be a solid battle companion as we have used solid rivets peened over washers, which should hold up throughout your adventures.

Hello. Would it be possible to have these made with etchings to match the 'Knight of Fortune' collection? If so, would that raise the cost?
Hi Nathaniel, yes it should be possible. Please contact our support team for the price.
Hello, do you offer these legs without the etching?
Hi Rowan, they can be made without etching upon request. Please simply leave this request in the comment to your order.
