“Mythical Beasts” Etched Arms

Inspired by the period between the XIV-XV centuries, this armor is sleek, aesthetically pleasing and functional. The base for this armor is actually our bestselling “Paladin” collection, improved upon with years of armoring experience and feedback from customers. It is flexible, looks great, and includes a new creation of ours: removable rondels for some added customization.

The design of this arm harness is very classic and is a form of Western armor we have worked to refine over many years. At the wrist, they form a full-wrap bracer that protects both the outside and inside of your lower arm. They close on the inside with a buckle, with a hinge on the other side. Two small articulated lames connect the bracer to the elbow – a robust cop, which then connects to the rerebrace, which is not entirely enclosed. A round rondel protects the inside of your elbow, giving this harness maximum protection for minimum loss of maneuverability.

This arm harness includes beautiful etching, a technology we have perfected and refined over the years. All of the etching designs on their piece are made by our talented team of artists, who have taken inspiration from history, art and mythology to create a beautiful pattern you will not find anywhere else. Designs twist there way around the armor, punctuated by skulls, with the default option for the rondel being a complementary floral pattern. All of the rondels on this set are removable and can be easily unscrewed and replaced by another from our collection, which consists of fearsome mythical beasts and creatures derived from tales and legends. As with most ArmStreet pieces, we have constructed this piece from high-quality materials. It has been well finished with a number of premium details, including rolled or rounded edges to ensure no sharp corners, medieval buckles and strong, supple leather. Instead of mild steel, we have used stainless, which is stronger, less likely to rust and very shiny. Because it is easy to take care of, we consider it the perfect choice for people in the SCA or attending LARP events. We have used solid rivets which are incredibly strong, meaning we expect this item to hold up in battle and last a long time.
