What does it take to lead? Do you have to be a fierce warrior, feared on the battlefield? Or is it better to be warm and flexible, listening to the needs of your people? The Wolfdottir understood both – her fire didn’t make her a tyrant, and her kindness never made her weak. She helped me understand that a great leader has balance.
This belt is a part of our Wolfdottir line of Viking items, a refresh of our usual Viking items that is both feminine and powerful. Using clean lines, natural colors and gorgeous accessories, we have designed clothing for a new character who is kind, strong, and the great leader that her people deserve. This belt is a new creation for us and is a more feminine rendition of previous Viking war belts that we have designed.
Constructed from 10 pieces of robust saddle leather, this beautiful accessory has been made with comfort in mind. We have done our very best to make sure that every seam sits flat and won’t rub so that you can get the best fit possible. The way it does up means that it is adjustable, so you’re able to let it out easily after a big meal or do it up tighter before a fight. The thinner belts are removable through slits in the side of the belt and can be used to loop other accessories over and hang things from.
This belt is completely a work of fantasy, though it is inspired by some of the wider belts that Vikings wore. We have added aspects to make it more suitable to a Viking aesthetic, such as embossed Viking knotwork around the edges and on the belts, and gorgeous cast brass 9th-century buckles. An exposed contrasting running stitch along the seams makes the shape of the belt pop and draws extra attention to the handmade aspect of the piece.
The design of this belt and all of the embossing on it are designed completely by ArmStreet. We have a passion for historical research and creating beautiful fantastical things that could have existed, and this doesn’t just stop with the clothing itself! All of the embossing designs are unique to ArmStreet and won’t be found elsewhere, though they have been inspired by Viking knotwork.
Regarding fit, there is 3cm of overlap at the front, so there is a little bit of room in size. This belt is available in fixed sizes, so please look at our size chart to determine which will be the best fit. When choosing your size, if your waist is the lower end of your size on the chart, just be aware that there will be more overlap in the middle of the belt.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

I would need it by July 13.
Hi Amy, it is possible with express shipping if the order is placed today. Please leave a comment to your order with the deadline.
Do you have any of these available for immediate shipping, or do they all require the manufacturing time?
Hi Amy, this belt can be made to order. However, we can rush your order if needed. Kindly let us know when you need the belt.
So beautiful! I love the way you've designed this to fit a woman's waist. My question: is it robust enough that you could hang an "Olegg the Mercenary" sax from it? (Or am I stuck with the masculine belt if I want to do that?) Either way, this belt is a work of art.
Hi Stefanie, yes the belt is robust enough.
