Our “Drakkar” earrings are made from thin laser-cut brass and resemble a Viking longship. A Drakkar specifically was a gorgeous ship from the sagas and was known to be the most ornately carved and interesting looking Viking ships that sailed the seas. The prows of the ships were often decorated to look like terrifying beasts, to protect the ships from the tall seas (and sea monsters!) and threaten enemies.
Think of these earrings as your own talisman of protection, warding off the horrors of daily life and bringing you great joy as you wear them. They are in a stylized shape that will mix well both with Viking costumes and modern fashion.
