This original clasp is based on XV century fibula prototype. This fibula is made of 3 layered brass. It’s double-sided, with floral ornament on one side and latin phrase on the other. Cut-through brass work.
Latin phrase “Amor meus amplior quam verba est” means “My love is beyond any words”.

I just received mine. I plan to wear it at a commitment ceremony with my betrothed. I absolutely love it! Its spectacular craftsmanship; it will be an heirloom piece.
