Inspired by the beauty of elves and the shape of flowers found in water gardens, our “Water Flowers” collection is full of striking new accessories. The patterns we designed for the trims of the dresses are carried through into the enamelled and laser cut embellishments on our jewellery, creating a line of accessories that match the dresses but are also eye-catching enough to be standalone pieces.
This ring is made from 1.5mm thick brass that has been laser cut into a filigree design. We chose this gauge of brass because it feels like the right weight for a ring, but won’t lose its shape or become too delicate after being laser cut. Brass has a warm, golden tone to it, and it is polished up to be quite shiny.
The design of this ring is a simple band, accented with a few flowers that blossom out and give it a slightly more interesting shape. To add contrast, the ring has been finished by our jeweller, who has filled in the filigree gaps with enamel which has been applied and finished by hand.
The patterns on this ring were designed by our artist and are reminiscent of the twists and forms of water lily stems and other aquatic florals. Though this ring is very medieval and elven in inspiration, we feel that it would also fit in very well with a modern outfit.
