“Water Flowers” Belt with Enamel

Ethereal and graceful, our “Water Flowers” collection consists of items inspired by Art Nouveau shapes, lovely water gardens and of course, elves. Throughout all of the items, you’ll find common motifs such as twisting elven knotwork, flowers, leaves, and lines that flow like water. All of the dresses are crafted from fluttery silk and soft, draping cotton, so it was only natural that we also created a line of accessories to compliment and emphasise such beautiful garments!

This belt appears delicate yet strong, just like an elf! The main feature is a chain is made from 1.6mm brass wire, all hand made and assembled. It’s punctuated by circular accents made from laser-cut brass, twisted into the floral shapes you’ll also find on the trim of the dresses and the other jewellery. The belt closes at the front with a small hook that can be looped through the chain, which can easily be adjusted after a feast if you need a little bit more belt room!

The circular accents are wonderfully finished by hand and further embellished with enamel. Enamel is one of the specialities of our master jeweller, and each colour is mixed by him and painstakingly applied by hand for perfection. Four of the circles feature elvish leaves, whereas the one found at the back is a more solid enamel water flower. The final accent is at the bottom of the chain that hangs below the closure, featuring another flower.

Our “Water Flower” Belt is ArmStreet designed and made from start to finish. It started in the mind of our resident artist, who researched elvish and Art Nouveau designs to create something truly unique. From there it was passed to our workshop, and finally, our jewellery who finished it with fine details such as countersunk rivets and lovely smooth edges. You won’t find anything quite like this anywhere else!
