The “Forest Princess” dress was one of the first featured ArmStreet’s fairy tale fashion items which made us very proud at that time. Let’s see what it brings! The elegant silhouette rings a bell for the late Middle Ages and early Renaissance, though it certainly has a fantastic origin. Exquisite medieval accouterments include tight back lacing, long sleeves supplied with countless whimsical buttons and high ‘empire’ waistline, accentuated with elegant braid to emphasize the bust. The hem of a full skirt with two additional gores is embellished with the same braid.
The pictured dress is made of bright green flax, which perfectly blends with the lush summer greens. Made of 100% natural flax linen, which keeps the body cool and dry, it becomes a must-have addition to a summer wardrobe. Hot weather requires a relaxed and laid-back vibe, and light fabric of authentic breathable structure is essential when the temperatures start to rise. The available linen colors range from naturals to brights and darks, and the variety of matching gold and silver trims allows to capture every look whether it be medieval, fantasy or gothic. Forest fairies are unpredictable, if once you lose track of the time - you'll be bewitched by a touch of nature. Then the enchantress won't let you out of her magic forest!
Choose one of the standard sizes, and make light size adjustments with the lacing, or opt for custom size to get cut-to-measure dress. But please note, if the difference between your bust and waist circumferences exceeds 9 13/16 in (25 cm), the dress won't fit as tightly as shown in the pictures.
To further emphasize the dignity of the figure, the dress can be supplemented with a corset belt or with a sophisticated overcoat. I bought this dress along with the corset belt that I cannot seem to find anywhere on the site now (which is a pity because it was a fine piece, but it also makes me feel like I have something unique). All I can say is the dress is gorgeous. I ordered a custom one in green and I must say it looks marvellous. The dress is well made and the details are lovely. I'm totally in love with the rose buttons. Even if it's more expensive, having Armstreet products custom tailored is well worth it, trust me ;)

I purchased this dress and I love it! What is the best way to clean this dress?
ArmStreet team:Thank you, Alison! Use 40°C (104°F) water for wash in gentle/delicate mode. To prevent tarnish an alkaline solution or color safe laundry detergent should be be used. Extraction (spinning) in gentle/delicate mode to simplify the ironing. Please don't use hot drying and do not pre-soak linen clothes.

The dress from stock is made of green linen with gold Forest trim. If you order a custom made dress, it can be made with silver Celtic trim on any of the colours, just choose the colour and the trim and enter your measurements.

How do I order the "Forest Princess" dress in a small size with the navy blue linen? I have tried on my friend's dress and it fit perfectly.
Fixed size dresses are available in green colour only. To get it in blue, you can order it in custom size.

I have a question regarding the fixed sizes. My measurements are: bust-37, waist-32, hips-44, full height-63 inches. Will the lacing accomodate me and if so, what size?
Please note, that all fixed size items (women's) are made for full height 5' 6" (168 cm), should fit fine to the growth 5' 5" – 5' 7" (165–170 cm).

I was curious why you ask only for the bicep and wrist circumference, but not for the arm length. I am 5'9", and I don't know if my arm length would be any different than that of a 5'5" person. How do you gauge this when manufacturing the gown?
Our experienced seamstresses are able to calculate the length of your arms using your full height and other measurements. Or you can specify your arm length (measured from external point of the shoulder to wrist measured along external side) in a comment to your order.

We recommend ordering the dress after the weight loss/gain. Pay attention to the dresses with side lacing and sleeves with lacing - they allow to make size adjustments easily.
Usually we make photo shoots of our items in one basic color only, so there are no pictures of this dress in different colors, sorry.
