Hello! Is yellow wool available for custom insignias on tabards?
The yellow wool is not available, sorry. We have now wool available in the following colors: Red, Black, Grey, Red wine, Ivory, Dark blue, Green, Lilac, Brown.
Hi Arm Street Team! My medieval styled wedding is coming up on the 17th December this year and I'm trying to decide on outfits for the groomsmen. Is it possible to have this standard white tabard with different coloured crosses? One red? One blue? One Green? Perfect for 3 Groomsmen :)
Thanks for choosing our costumes for such an important date! :) Yes, it is possible, but please note, we can use only the materials and colors we have. The cross is made of wool, now there is Red, Green wool available, Blue is available only in a very dark shade. Also wool is available in Black, Ivory, Lilac, Brown and Wine Red colors.
This is going to end up sounding like I'm asking for a completely different and custom garment, but...could this tabard's overall look be used to make a more feminine surcoat for ladies? Thank you.
Please specify what it should look like? We would be grateful if you could describe it or send us some pictures.
Just received my order, must say the quality and craftsmanship are great! Exactly what I was hoping for. I will say my tabard and tunic are a little bigger on me than I'd prefer, would washing help to shrink them a bit? What wash settings would you suggest? Thanks!
Thank you for your nice feedback! We always add some give for freedom of movement and for shrinkage. Shrinking cotton is fine, it’s a tough fabric and can handle high heat when drying. Put the tabard in washing machine (we recommend using 50°C setting), add a little soap, then lie flat for dry (do not put in dry machine!), and iron.
Every bit as STUNNING as the pictures show - SUPERB artistry! Highly recommend!
Hello, I was wondering if it were possible to have this exact tunic, but with a Teutonic insignia and cross rather than the red Templar cross?
This is doable, please email us some pictures of the insignia and cross you want, so we can give you an estimate on price.
Hi, Is this material suitable for use in SCA Heavy combat? Thank you, Will
For SCA it's better to use linen than cotton, since the most common fabrics used in the SCA period (400 to 1600) were linen, wool and silk.
do you have any other medieval tabards, if not will you make different designs or variants?
We have no other tabards, only this one. Please specify what upgrades you'd like to get, perhaps we could slightly change the current design.
I was wondering if this item is in stock and how long it would take to be shipped to me in ny
The tabard can be made to order only. Manufacturing takes 25-29 days, plus shipping- 16-21 days.
DoeS it come with the chainmail, boots, and undergarment shown in the picture??
Hello! This price only for tabard
Under tunic you can buy separately and belt as well.
Chainmail and boots not for sale - sorry
