On the tent... The prize of maidens, Queen of Shamakhan, in radiance Lambent like the morning star, Quietly salutes the Tsar. A.S.Pushkin "The tale of the golden cockerel"
This coat is undeniably one of our best blends of history and fantasy. We find that many historical garments don’t quite have the same eye-catching quality as works of fantasy and that plenty of fantasy is over-the-top and uninspiring. So, we present to you this gorgeous coat, full of historical inspiration, made with quality textiles, and bursting with a certain personality that only fantasy can achieve.
This coat combines elements of Manchu clothing and Balkan designs in a way that is flattering with our signature ArmStreet twist. It is meant as an outer layer and is slim-fitted like many items of later European garb. It is tapered in at the waist before flowing out in a series of generous pleats at the back and gores at the front, giving you lots of room to walk and plenty of insulation on cold nights. We have made this coat with toggles in the middle to keep in closed, as well as added hooks as a safeguard so you don’t have to worry about it tearing open in the wind. Beautiful long sleeves give this coat a formal gown-like appeal, falling gracefully to just below your knees. The sleeves afford this garment a certain presence that will no doubt attract attention and make it clear that you are a person to be taken seriously.
What really sets this coat apart is the materials. Historical textiles have been used where possible, with some more modern touches coming in to finish it off. The majority of this coat is made from wool that drapes incredibly and will provide you with some water resistance. Around the neckline, you’ll find faux-fur to give you more warmth as well as a touch of luxury. The Machu influence comes in with the details - the toggles along with the decorations on the bottom, back and sleeves are embellished with beads. Pom-pom like trim is used as well along the sleeves and back of the dress which continues these motifs. Satin lining is used throughout to ensure that the coat slips on and off easily, as well as creating a shiny texture that contrasts with the flat wool.
Please note: accessories are not included in this listing, the coat only. If you’re looking for a little bit extra, this coat also has a matching hat, bag, and detachable slim-fitting wool sleeves. We hope that you feel like an enchanting queen when you wear this coat!

Is it possible to get the satin lining in purple on a custom black wool coat?
Dear Jessica, we do not have purple lining, unfortunately.
