“Key Keeper” Limited Edition Embossed Shoes

Embossed Medieval leather shoes

These shoes from our “Key Keeper” collection are very special and limited edition! Everything in this collection is made to be both visually stunning and practical, and these shoes are absolutely no exception. Made to be generically medieval in style, they’ll be at home in any medieval wardrobe and look great with any time period – including modern clothing, we think!

These shoes have a wonderful feminine shape: they rise slightly above your heel at the back and come to a nice tapered point at the toe. To secure them to your foot there is a strap, which closes with a simple buckle made from blackened brass. The inside of the shoe is lined with leather which gives it another color, with just a little bit of suede piping showing at the top of the shoe for a nice contrast.

The aspect of these shoes that makes them so special is the stunning basket-woven embossing. It’s a very classy, traditional embellishment that sinks deeply into the leather and gives it a great texture and pattern. We haven’t used this technology on any of our shoes before!

If you’ve owned medieval shoes before, you know that one of the common problems is how flat and uncomfortable they are. Designs that may have worked in medieval times are no longer practical for modern roads! To solve this problem, ArmStreet hired a professional shoemaker with decades of experience, who applies his knowledge of making comfortable modern shoes to our medieval designs. Our shoes may look medieval, but they have been carefully shaped on a modern shoe last and constructed with ergonomic materials and multiple layers, including a leather insole, an orthopedic base, leather fiberboard, and ribbed rubber outsole for grip.

Important note about measurements: Please be accurate when taking your measurements, as it drastically influences our ability to make an item that will suit you perfectly. Keep in mind that natural leather is soft material and it will stretch, so when you are getting your shoes it is normal that they fit very slim. They will adjust to your feet shape after one or two days of usage.
