An axe was easier to make and was deadly effective against opponents that wore light armor, and even plate armor could have been damaged, especially if the back mace-like side of the axe head was used.

The head of the axe is hollow and is very light, it is made of stainless steel and will remain shiny for a long time. Just give it a wipe with a dry cloth from time to time and it will hold up well!
It also has a special feature: a side pin on the head which allows you to quickly put the axe on your belt or on a horse harness.
The axe comes with handle attached, but you can replace it, if you want a longer or a shorter one.
