Looking to leave an impression? Look no further than “Dark Wolf” – your enemies sure won’t be forgetting you any time soon! It’s more than just another pretty set of armor, though, it’s been created with combat in mind to be brutal, functional, and protective, so not only will you win all of your fights, but you’ll look great while doing it.

This collection is inspired by harnesses from XV century Europe but is ultimately a work of fantasy. The biggest inspiration actually came from our “Dark Star” collection, as we had so many requests to make a male version of the same armor! It’s easy to see aspects of XV century armor in both sets: it’s fitted and articulated, and something you would expect to see on a wealthier knight.

These greaves work excellently as shin protection and can be worn on their own or in combination with a leg harness. They’re ¾ wrap, meaning they cover that amount of your leg. To achieve this, we have a hinge at the side that attaches to an additional metal plate that protects the back of your leg. The greaves are anatomically shaped and go all the way down to your ankle, giving amazing coverage.

Spring steel was an easy choice when it came to selecting materials for this collection… though it’s not so easy to work with! Luckily for you, we’ve mastered the material and are now producing lots of beautiful spring steel armor that’s light, maneuverable, and much, much stronger than mild or stainless steel of the same thickness.

These greaves come blackened with polished spring steel segment by default, but can be made in mirror-polish and other color combinations. Please have a chat with our customer support to go over your color options.

IMPORTANT: To fit correctly and prevent injury, a suit of armour must be accurately built to the measurements of the person wearing it. PLEASE take all measurements over either the gambeson or under-padding you are planning to wear with this armour. The sole exception is for persons buying armour and padding together, ArmStreet will then make the proper size adjustments for the armour based on the measurements provided for the padding.
