Our “Morning Star” set is the newest addition to our amazing collection of female armor. Designed to fit the female body and be practical as well as stunning to look at, nothing will make you feel more confident and powerful than this suit of armor. Lightweight and featuring brass and shiny silver, you’ll shine brighter than the sun and leave a real impact when you defeat your enemies!

This collection is very loosely inspired by the XV century – you can see it in the sleek appearance and highly fitted and articulated pieces. Overall, though, it is a work of fantasy and has been designed by the blacksmiths in our workshop since there aren’t too many historical sources to work off of.

Female armour kit includes:

This listing includes the cuirass (chest armor), full leg harness (including greaves), pauldrons (shoulder armor), and full arm harness. This is enough to get you started and make you very well protected on the battlefield.

Cuirass

The cuirass includes a front and backplate for full coverage. A solid plate protects you from your chest down to just about your waist, followed by articulated plates that give you excellent mobility and movement. At the hips, there are buckles that attach to tassets which hang down onto the top of your thighs to cover the gap between the breastplate and leg harness. The whole thing is attached by beautiful white leather straps and cast brass buckles to give you the best fit. The edges of the breastplate are trimmed in matching white leather to stop the metal from rubbing directly against your skin while also contrasting with the armor to look fantastic.

Full Leg Harness

The leg harness includes the full cuisses, knee, and greaves. The thigh and knee armor are riveted together, while the greave can be removed. They are nicely shaped at the top and hug your legs in a comfortable way, with an additional plate wrapping around to the back. They are articulated down around the knee, which allows you to run, jump, bend, and fight. The knee piece is not oversized but the fans still offer you a decent amount of protection for your outer knee. Below the knees, you'll find a few more lames and a final plate that fits over the top of the greaves with locking pins to keep them in place. The greaves are a single piece that is anatomically shaped to fit your shins, and they extend down to your foot, also protecting your ankle. The greaves are not full-wrap, and instead, protect the front of your legs.

Pauldrons

The pauldrons start with a segment made of white leather, which has holes in it to pass lacing through (we recommend lacing them onto your gambeson or gorget). There are two lames before the main segment, which is accented in brass plating and made from slightly thicker steel. It also features a sword breaker, which gives the pauldrons a nice fantasy look. Underneath the main segment is three more lames and a final thin leather segment, as well as a leather strap to attach the pauldron to your arm. The most visually stunning part is the flower rondel, which protects your underarm and has a little decorative lion rivet in the center.

Arm Harness

The arm harness is anatomically shaped and completely riveted together, making it a comfortable and protective piece. A rerebrace at the top wrap partially around your upper arm, which gives way to a few lames before a beautiful brass plated elbow cop. The elbow is a fantastic shape and wraps quite far around to give decent coverage of your inner arm. The vambrace is full-wrap and consists of two anatomically shaped plates that are held together with the help of a strap and buckle.

This is an exciting time for ArmStreet because we’re starting to branch out and use new materials that make the armor much more enjoyable for you to wear. A piece like this would have usually been made of mild or stainless steel, which would have to be thicker in order to be strong enough to protect you. With our new spring steel, we can make the armor lighter without having to sacrifice that much-needed protection that you expect from armor! The golden accents on this armor really make it stand out. This set has golden pauldrons, elbows, knees, and tassets, as well as accents on the cuirass. Same elements can be made of blackened spring steel. For some extra you can order the armour with golden greaves as well or discuss the possible options of colour combination - every part of this armour can be made in silver, golden or black colour. If you’re not a fan of the gold, choose “Spring Steel” in “Accents” section of materials to get this whole suit of armor just mirror-polished silver spring steel instead.

Throughout you will find high-quality materials and fine details, such as beautiful white leather around the edges, solid brass rivets that have been carefully peened over washers for the most solid construction possible, cast brass buckles, and decorative touches.

PLEASE take all measurements over either the gambeson or under-padding you are planning to wear with this armour.
