This is great quality XIV-XV century type brigandine - great classic combat medieval
armor. Our brig is made of 3 layers of fabric with wool covering (external wool layer, then 2
layers of cotton with metal plates between and flax linen lining) with 1 mm hand-dished cold-rolled plates inside. This is great, light and very comfortable combat armor. Actually, 1mm is enough, but for your choice it can be made with 1.5 (16 ga) cold-rolled plates inside.
Brig is bordered with leather. Plates are hand-dished and brig is joined with solid metal rivets.
Great flexibility, reasonable weight and authentic medieval looking as well as standard ArmStreet's
quality with well thought-out engineering and fine finishing
Important note about measurements: please take into account that we need your measurements in gambeson, choses or other under-armour gear you are planning to use with this armor. The only exception is when you are ordering both armour and padding from our company — in this case you can send us your body measurements. For sabatons please send your footwear actual measurements.
