Western Splinted Bazubands

Medieval etched stainless arm bracers

Slavic type splinted bracers are popular in Eastern Europe combat community and as well as among SCA people. We think this design is really good for modern medieval style fighting because of great balance between weight, protection and hand and wrist flexibility. This item is more complicated then it looks but really worth time spend for making.

Stainless steel bars with etched pattern, natural thick leather and red or black soft leather lining inside for your choice as well as removable SCA-legal elbow cops for elbow protection.

You can purchase same bracers with Celtic style pattern and also a number of another armor

like splinted greaves, arms and elbow and knee cops with etching.

Please contact us if you have any additional questions.

Important note about measurements: please take into account that we need your measurements in gambeson, choses or other under-armour gear you are planning to use with this armor. The only exception is when you are ordering both armour and padding from our company — in this case you can send us your body measurements. For sabatons please send your footwear actual measurements.

  • Sebastian Goriesky 29 of August 2016:

Is it possible to get a quote this set without the engraving?

    ArmStreet team:

This set with no etching will cost about $299.00 + $42.00 (shipping). Please contact us by email contact@armstreet.com to order it w/o etching.

  • Rob Hunter 08 of January 2015:

I would like to ask for a quote on this arm armor. Can you manufacture in .8mm tempered spring steel (.9mm on the elbow cops), and deliver to USA by February 15th? What would be the total weight of the arm armor in .8mm spring, and what would be the price including shipping? Thank you! Rob

    ArmStreet team:

We do not use any tempered steel or spring steel, sorry. These bracers can be made of 18 ga (1 mm) stainless or mild (cold-rolled) steel.
