I've been wearing these for a few months now, every Friday night for ~4 hours for some pretty intense LARP combat. I'm pretty active, with a lot of running and fighting. At first they seemed really heavy, and everything hurt after wearing them - a great work out! I quickly got used to them though, and added a bit of thin quilted padding and fitted them properly to me with a pourpoint. So far as armour goes, these took very little adjusting to feel comfortable. Now they feel like a second skin, and I never want to wear any other leg armour. They look stunning and people always comment on how beautiful they are... now I just need the matching arms :)
ArmStreet team:Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experiences! We're pleased to hear that you liked these armor legs, it would be just great if you share some photos :)

What would the price drop be for a mild steel substitution without etching?
The price of the legs without etching in mild steel will be the same as listed (because polishing and processing of the mild steel to avoid rusting is labor-intensive, as much as etching), just mention it in the comments to your order please. The legs with no etching in stainless steel will cost 15% less.
I do SCA combat in these and love them! they are tight to my legs so I dont even feel like I'm wearing them and its all very maneuverable! only down side is they dent a lot easier than plate, but all it takes is 5 minutes with a mallet to knock the dents out.
What would the price be for 16 gauge without etching.
For 16 ga w/o etching - price will be the same as listed.
