There aren’t many who can say they’ve been in the evening star’s inner circle - she holds her emotions and intention close and isn’t quick to trust anyone. Don’t mistake her calm demeanor for weakness, as she’s quick to take action if she feels she has been crossed.

We’re tired of armor that weighs you down and makes it difficult to move. That’s exactly why we created the “Evening Star” collection - we felt that it was time for a lightweight, aesthetically striking collection of armor for women that don’t just drag you down.

This collection is very sleek and fitted, a look that you see in a lot of late XIV-XV century Western European armor. Armor of this quality probably would have been owned by a very wealthy knight or a noble of some variety, as it would have taken an experienced blacksmith a very long time to create.

If you’re tired of wrestling your hand into difficult gauntlets, you’re going to love these because they basically slip on like a glove. They include the beautiful leather inner glove, and the steel components start at the wrist and cover you just beyond your knuckles. They are perfect for LARP or types of combat that don’t require full coverage of your hand. The cuff is nicely flared, which is followed by an articulated plate that gives you some wrist flexibility before the main plate. More articulated pieces follow, which are anatomically shaped to fit your fingers.

This piece is crafted from one of our blacksmithing workshop’s favorite new materials, spring steel. Spring steel requires an annealing process so requires much more labor to make, but the effort is worth it because it is much stronger than any other type of steel that we use. This means that we can make our armor thinner, lighter, and more comfortable for you without having to worry about it denting, bending, or failing you in the heat of battle.

These are luxurious gauntlets made using only the finest materials available to us. They are completely constructed from 1.2mm spring steel, with solid rivets and high-quality leather for both the straps and the inner glove. They have a blackened finish, with brassed accents which give it a lovely golden look.

IMPORTANT: To fit correctly and prevent injury, a suit of armour must be accurately built to the measurements of the person wearing it. PLEASE take all measurements over either the gambeson or under-padding you are planning to wear with this armour. The sole exception is for persons buying armour and padding together, ArmStreet will then make the proper size adjustments for the armour based on the measurements provided for the padding.
