The Kingmaker Belt

As the finishing touch on the Kingmaker Collection, this belt is both fancy and understated at the same time. We wanted to finish off such an amazing set with something that is classy and doesn’t take away from the ornate beauty of the armor, whilst still reflecting the same astute attention to detail and quality. A milky white colour that reflects nobility, The Kingmaker Belt takes advantage of some of our most practiced specialties – etching and embossing.
The whole belt is deeply embossed with a pattern that is reminiscent of the borders seen on XIV-XV century European manuscripts, giving it a look that is familiar but still deeply medieval. The belt buckle and chape are etched in a matching pattern that continues the motif, and are held to the belt with beautiful little solid brass rivets.
While we intended this belt to be worn with the Kingmaker Collection, it would make an excellent addition to any medieval costume, be it that of a knight or just a footman who dreams of one day leading their forces to victory. It can also be combined with our new matching Kingmaker Bag, which has the added bonus of having a specially crafted pouch for a smartphone.
