Embossed Viking Belt

Among all the skills and abilities of the experienced artisans at ArmStreet, the knowledge of ordinary things creation is the only one that keeps slipping through our fingers. Though we use the word "simple" among ourselves for this belt, this characteristic is far from being just. What looks like a stripe of natural leather with a primitive fastener nevertheless has deeper layers. Let's start with the embossing pattern on the leather - you would definitely describe it as a Viking knotwork, despite this particular ornament having no exact prototype. However, it was created by our designers based on profound research of the existing historical references specifically for the "Viking" collection. You can find the same pattern etched on the brass or steel accent holding the clasp. We encourage you to choose the tint of the handmade molded clasp: golden or silvery. Please be advised that the etched accents will be of the same tint by default, so when ordering the belt with brass fastening, the etched accent will be made of brass as well, while the nickel-plated brass will be accompanied by the steel accent.
The generous length of the belt provides endless opportunities for how exactly to wear it. Over a warm winter coat or a fine linen undertunic, over an embroidered dress or with leather armor, the belt will come in handy for carrying a Viking's burdens: swords, goblets, purses, and buckler shields.
And no matter what load you put on it, high-quality leather will easily cope with it.

Kathryn 16 of May 2020:This is a beautiful, comfortable belt. The detail is lovely, although the buckle is a bit lightweight and seems a little flimsy for a viking belt. I don't think it will break or anything, it just feels bit more lightweight than expected. We got it to go with the “Ragnvaldur the Traveller” Boots (customized with the embossed strap from the "Embossed Viking Boots"), it makes a great set!

Beautiful belt, goes well with the viking bracers I purchased from armstreet previously. The belt is long enough to fit around my 45" waist with about 8" after wrapping the end over the top to drop down along my front. The leather is thick but has a "worn in" feel, very soft and flexible. There are many holes already in the belt for all sizes, which was great since I sometimes wear the belt looser on my hips or empire style depending on which costume I wear. I have also worn it with blue jeans and the belt fits perfectly through jean belt loops. I would recommend this belt. Thank you!

The belt is beautiful. Decorated with very good taste and good materials. Perhaps the worst thing is the buckle, which seems quite flimsy, but nothing that is important.

Is the belt available in brown like your advertised photos?
Hi Dakoata, yes please simply select custom size option for the belt and there will be a brown leather option. Plus, we often re-stock this belt so brown belt will be available in stock soon.
