“Renaissance Memories” Dress Belt

This belt is a part of our “Renaissance Memories” collection, a new series of stunning clothing and accessories, which are historically inspired with a touch of modern ingenuity. Flattering and feminine, each and every item manages to be a standout item in its own right.
This piece is inspired by a type of belt commonly found in the XV century, usually worn by women. Referred to as “girdle belts”, these belts were made from materials such as thin leather, fabric or woven silk, and decorated with cast metal fittings. This type of belt is made to be worn on the hips, opposed to the waist, which you’ll find with some modern belts.
Similar to our historical inspiration, the ends of this belt are punctuated with two large brass accents on the ends, which are laser cut with an intricate pattern. The belt is connected with a robust hook and chain, which makes it highly adjustable and easy to obtain the perfect fit. At the bottom of the chain, you’ll find a beautiful laser cut ornament, reminiscent of a pomegranate fruit in shape. The main part of the belt is made from leather, deeply embossed with a beautiful pattern that resembles snaking vines, similar to those found on the laser cut metal. The rest of the belt is accented with a four smaller laser cut discs spaced out along the belt, making this one of our fancier women’s belts.
This beautiful belt is made from premium materials, which look fantastic and will stand the test of time. Supple leather is used for the main part of the belt, which has a lovely texture and is strong without being too stiff and rigid. The chain is created from thick brass wire, expertly linked together. The metal accents are all attached to the belt with tiny brass rivets and washers, which hold everything together securely whilst also looking fantastic.

Love this belt! The embossed leather is fine quality. The brass embellishments are works of art, each one different.
