Our "German Rose" series is full of simple yet stunning pieces that use strong shapes and flawless construction techniques to give a sense of understated luxury. Inspired by the 16th century, we have used historical images and sources to design mostly historical items, with usually just a touch of imagination. In most cases, the fantasy we apply has practical aspects, such as better materials or more robust construction methods to help our items survive in the modern world.

This bag is built around a metal ring, a popular style in the 16th century that can be seen in references used by various people. Though there are many extravagant examples, we chose to go simple with ours and design something that doesn't distract from the rest of your costume. Instead, it blends in and supports the natural beauty of the rest of your kit.

The good news about this bag is that we haven't found a phone that won't fit it! We understand that trying to conceal your modern items and finding a bag that will fit larger phones can be challenging. This purse gives you plenty of room to hide your phone, keys, wallet, and other essentials, so you can easily carry your modern conveniences on you. The bag closes in the middle of the ring with a drawstring.

This bag is made from relatively thin leather and drapes beautifully – the ideal fabric for a luxurious purse. The inside is lined with flax linen, keeping your belongings safe. Because of the high-quality leather and simple design, we can also imagine this bag being used in modern fashion! You can carry this bag by a loop at the top, which has the same leather on the outside, with slightly more rigid leather underneath to stop it from stretching. This loop can also serve as a belt hanger - it is easy to thread your belt through.
