Medieval flax linen corset belt
Corset is made of flax linen using original medieval technology with cord inside instead of bones which is also typical for XIII century medieval corsets. Main feature of this belt is it's not as hard as corset with bones. Decorative golden lacing with brushes can be used additionally over belt as presented at pictures.
- Blue, green, white corset comes with current trim
- Black, wine red, burgundy corset comes with “Lady hunter” black-red trim
Please note that the width of this item at the waist is always less than your real waist circumference. This is attributable to the fact that corset is designed to tighten an abdomen and create a slim silhouette. With this corset you can reduce your waist circumference even up to 10 cm, but for such a beautiful effect as you can see at the photos you will need to tighten it mightily; it requires outside help. First time wearing a corset can cause discomfort, but soon you will get used and its fabric will slightly stretch.

An absolutely stunning piece, and really beautifully constructed. The attention to detail is excellent, and the ribbed texture is very, very special. My only quibble is that the fit is surprisingly boxy, which makes it less flattering to the figure than it could be. It's possible my measurements were to blame? Perhaps it should be worn tighter. I would advise the wearer to consider holding their tape quite tightly, if so.

It's also one of those items I can use as part of a casual outfit. Would love to get it in other colours to mix and match with my other dresses. Overall great quality and details.

I saw the corset could be customized with the different wide trims available, but can it be made without a trim?
It is not possible to make it without trim, unfortunately.
if you get this corset in a different color does the trim change too or would it stay green?

Hello! I am interested in ordering this corset and my measurements are as follows: Underbust: 36 inches, Waist: 32 inches, Hips: 41 inches, Height: 69 inches. How does the corset accommodate gaining and losing weight? These are my current measurements, but I am starting to exercise more and am concerned it may not fit if I lose some weight? Or should I wait to order? Any guidance is appreciated!
Dear Lisa, this corset is made in custom size. If you loose weight, the corset won't fit tight, unfortunately.

Hi, I was thinking of getting this corset in the shown green and customising the trim to be the 'Celtic Green-Gold'. The trim green colour seems to me darker than the main green colour on the corset - are trim and corset greens in the same realm of each other or would it look strange? Thankyou!

Curious how this laces. Love the concept. Beautiful garment. But I wonder how strong the cord inside is; and how the mechanism actually works. It really isn't explained on the website. Not to complain, but I've bought nine garments (and several things like belts and headwear). They all have been lovely. But the ones with similar strings or buttons haven't held up so well. I've had to replace them. With my own buttons and actually changed some lacings to leather. I love the look of this but I'd like it to be durable? I'm not a seamstress, so any alterations I've done must be pretty simple. I'd love to order this, but what assurances could I have to ensure the stays/strings, inside and out would be adequate. I'm doing personal measurements rather than stock sizes.
The corset has back lacing, there is a certain number of grommets (depends on the size) and you need just to lace it with a cord (originally the gold braid is used) as pictured.

The Helga dress cannot be made with this trim, as it doesn`t have a narrow version, sorry. The dress can be made only with those trims which have both wide and narrow versions.

“Mistress of the Hills” trim is available in wide version only, there is no narrow version.
