Ellette recalls the day she moved into an old house at the northern edge next to the ancient forest as the beginning of her love-hate relationship with this gloomy village. There were no conflicts – you should be insane to confront the healer's daughter – but why was she seen so often in a landlord's castle? And where does she bring all those rare ingredients from? Moreover, have you seen what she's wearing for swimming in the lake?!

Part of the constantly growing "Fireside Family" collection, the new version of the popular chemise with braided accents features new material. It is the perfect undergarment for those looking for a generic but not boring medieval design. The undertunic adds an extra highlight to your overall look, even when hidden deep under the layers. The braid accent is hand-made of three narrow stripes of fabric and aligned with the neckline to pop up from wider collars of dresses and overtunics. Its loose ends hang down as tiny waterfalls, adding extra charm to the elaborate design of the medieval-style undertunic.

In the Middle Ages, chemises played a few essential roles: first, they were responsible for hygiene, protecting the delicate skin from the rough fabric of the main layer while, conversely, protecting the main layer of clothing from sweat. In our version, the extra comfort is provided by the flat French seams, which reduce the risk of chafing and make the whole appearance of the chemise neat and, well, more medieval. The fitted top combined with a wide skirt resembles designs of the 11th-12th centuries. The slim fit of the sleeves makes the layering hassle-free. Back then, similar undertunics could have been used as pajamas or swimsuits.

The new material combines the characteristics of cotton and flax linen. It is pleasant to touch and helps you counter the elements, whether you want your skin protected from active sun or seek more warmth in layering.
