Just in case you have never had high socks by ArmStreet (which I also find rather improbable) here is a short note about them: made from 95% cotton and 5% elastane, they are comfy and stretchy without being itchy or irritating. Knitted with a nice visible texture and quite thick, they will go with lots of styles of medieval clothing.
