Renaissance shirt and vest set
Shirt is made of natural flax linen. Vest is made of pure wool with satin lining (satin lining optionally can be replaced to cotton). This great set looks really authentic and beautifull, great option for renaissance style fencers and duellers.
You can purchase linen shirt itself and matching belt with steel accents in our store.
Please note that dark blue wool has a very dark shade, that may appear black under electric light indoors.

We got these for the groom and groomsmen for our wedding. My husband-to-be looks so splendid in it. He says they look great and the buckles look great and the wool vest is very comfortable and not hot at all and much nicer than he thought it would be. It can be a historical costume but it also looks a lot like Italian traditional grab and not really costumey at all. The seller was great with communications. Once they finished making our order it shipped and arrived almost immediately even thou we are in the United States and the seller is in the Ukraine.

I have just received this set and all I can say is that it is AWESOME. Don't forget to buy the "Handmade Leather Belt with Steel Etching Accents", because it is the perfect complement. I also have the "Forest fantasy boots" and the whole set makes a hero out of you.

What pants do you currently carry that might be the best match for this costume?

Would there be a way to have an image of the red wine wool version? Is there another of your products that uses the same material so I could see the real color that the vest would be ?
Hello, we do not have the pic of the vest in red wool, unfortunately, but the color iteself can be seen on this skirt.

I LOVE this look and would like to order it for an upcoming event. Here's the issue, I am a large female. How large do these items go? In men's shirts, I usually take a 2XL - Big&Tall. Hello, I bought the Chevalier shirt and vest set, and I'd like to know how to wash each of these items. Is it safe to put these in the washing machine on delicate wash? Or do they need to be dry cleaned?
Linen shirt is machine washable, use 40°C (104°F) water for wash in gentle mode. To prevent tarnish an alkaline solution or color safe laundry detergent should be be used. Extraction (spinning) in delicate mode to simplify the ironing. Please don't use hot drying and do not pre-soak linen clothes.
Woolen vest should be dry cleaned only. Do not wash.
In what century and country is exactly inspired this set? "Renaissance" is a very long period. Is is french, italian, german? XVI century, XVII, XV?
This is not reconstruction, but rather a fantasy on the theme of Renaissance costume. We've adapted the pattern of traditional Spanish garment for this model.

The boots are available for order - Medieval Fantasy Pirate Boots. Pants were made specifically for the photoshoot, they are not for sale, sorry.
