Western Armor Pauldrons SCA

15th Century inspired articulated pauldrons with great back coverage.

A classic in our collection, these Western-style medieval pauldrons have been constantly improved upon by our blacksmiths to give you the best possible product. Completely functional, these are suitable for combat and go well with any kind of medieval body protection. The wearer’s shoulders are securely protected by a large main plate, which extends to the back to provide broad coverage of both your armpit and shoulder blades. They allow for a wide range of movement whilst still providing you with adequate protection - five perfectly articulated lames give coverage almost to the elbow whilst remaining flexible to keep you comfortable and agile.

These pauldrons absolutely exude the heroic grace of western style armor in the middle ages. They are specifically inspired by pauldrons from the 15th century, but look great alongside a variety of different armor styles. They’ll look perfect on a knightly harness, and not at all out of place in a man-at-arms kit. More than anything, these pauldrons are just an excellent basic addition to any kit looking for a reliable piece of armor that’s been thoughtfully made.

The default material for our Western Style Pauldrons is 16ga stainless steel, in either a mirror polish or in a more subdued satin finished. Stainless steel is tough and reliable, and also highly rust resistant allowing for ease of maintenance, so you can spend less time polishing and more time fighting!

Important note about measurements: please take into account that we need your measurements in gambeson, choses or other under-armour gear you are planning to use with this armor. The only exception is when you are ordering both armour and padding from our company — in this case you can send us your body measurements. For sabatons please send your footwear actual measurements.

On your order form I noticed that it said 16 to 21 days shipping. And 18 to 22 days manufacturing. Does that mean I will not receive my order for 43 days? Thank you.

    ArmStreet team:

Yep, processing time = manufacturing + shipping time.
