Italian Breastplate Cuirass
XIII-XIV century style 9-segmants cuirass armor
This breastplate design is well known as “Italian segmental breastplate”.
Material is 1.5 mm (appr. 16 ga) cold-rolled steel, leather straps and steel rivets. Internal surface is painted black. Borders are turned-in.
This cuirass is very comfortable and fits most sizes allowing size-adjustment thanks to its multisegmantal design. It is also relatively light for this type of armor and provides great front and sides protection.
Stainless steel version available upon request for $100 extra.
Important note about measurements: please take into account that we need your measurements in gambeson, choses or other under-armour gear you are planning to use with this armor. The only exception is when you are ordering both armour and padding from our company — in this case you can send us your body measurements. For sabatons please send your footwear actual measurements.

Would it be possible to get this cuirass with tassets?
Сannot be made with the tassets, sorry. We recommend wearing it with the stainless steel fauld covered with leather.
I'm wondering if it's possible for me to get this breastplate in stainless steel with a satin finish? What do I need to do to make this happen?
Stainless steel - please add a comment to your order, we'll send an invoice for the extra charge directly to your PayPal email.
Satin finish - please choose preferable option in the order form.
