This kit, along with its brother “Sellsword”, is a practical swordplay-oriented armor designed to create a nice, functional, and relatively inexpensive armor kit that can serve as a foundation for SCA-heavy or HEMA harnischfechten armor, as well as other WMA applications. These arms, accordingly, are the simple, completely functional option we can offer for the Western armor kit. Basic lower cannons with laced-up elbow cops are a centuries-tested solution for armguards that works.

The armor is made of tempered steel, which means (a) hard and (b) lightweight, which is basically all you need for your functional kit of armor. Straightforward yet anatomically correct shapes, practical matte finish (or mirror finish if you prefer), and simple but reliable strapping are everything you need.

These arms will work perfectly in combination with 4-segment “Hedge Knight” pauldrons and our practical clamshell gauntlets.
