Medieval Asian Helmet “Shadrino”
Eastern Style SCA Helmet
This helmet is an excellent piece of combat armor, engineered to maximize the protection it will give you in an SCA fight without impeding too much on the wonderful historical aesthetic. It has been a popular part of our collection for many years, but recently we decided to do a complete re-design to bring it up to modern SCA standards. This has included alterations to hide a bar grill under the aventail cleverly.
The original design for this helmet is based on an Asian helmet found near Shadrino, Altai, in 1932. This territory - today in the south of Modern Russia - would have had widespread Mongolian influences in the 13th-14th century, creating some of the more interesting and striking styles of Eastern armor we see today. You can see this in the shaping of the pointed top, the curve of the eye holes, and the way the aventail starts at the nose and drapes down, creating quite a unique silhouette.
This helmet has been made from 2mm stainless steel, meaning it is robust and thick, sure to protect your head. Each side of the head has two round cheek plates. Stainless steel is the ideal material for SCAdians because it has great structural integrity and rust resistance, making cleaning it up after fighting practice much easier! The aventail for this piece, however, is blackened mild steel, which is still more resistant than regular mild steel but is worth taking care of properly and keeping away from any excess moisture.
As mentioned earlier, this helmet includes full hidden SCA face protection underneath the aventail. It includes padding inside and is already strapped and ready to wear, including a chin strap.

I had Test the Helmet it is Awsome great Viabiliti, good Breathing but Heavy. For the Pice i think it dosent give a better Mongolien Helmet at the Moment. Tipp for all Look That you eyelevel is a bit higth than the first Chanis. Remove the Rondels to make it a bit Ligther. I realy like the Padding it dosent make me sweed mutch and had good Energyabsurbation. Picture you found on Instagram from Armstreet

How are the hidden plates attached to the helm?
The protective plates are attached to the helmet with rivets. It can be removed, but it requires certain skills and instruments.

I want to know with which institution or company you are sending stuffs to my country?
