Armor Arms “Black Knight”

Rerebraces, couters, closed vambraces set

For the first time in a long while, we've not only updated the well-loved armor kit but also complemented it with a new element, so check out our new “Black Knight” armour arms! Traditional medieval style, distinctive functionality, innovative details and daring design - that's the way to briefly describe them. Better than that, is their reasonable price.

Technically, the arms consist of three main components: rerebraces, couters, and closed vambraces attached by rivets. The upper cannon is a single curved plate shaped in full accordance with the anatomy of the upper arm, covering it from shoulder to elbow, and having a leather patch on its top edge for easy attachment either to your spaulders or to your gambeson. The shoulders are assumed to be covered with the pauldrons, which can be purchased separately.

The lower cannon is of two halves connected by a reliable hinge. Feature well-thought-out and carefully forged edges, so they are easy to connect - just slide the inner plate under the outer one and lock them with the buckled leather strap to avoid accidental opening. You can manage this on your own if you don't have a squire yet!

Overlapping segments up and down the main cup of the couter retain mobility, so the elbow won't get vulnerable while fencing. Its complex curves are absolutely necessary for a properly working elbow joint. A stunning Gothic-style leaf covers the bend of the arm from the inside and endows the arms with a bold character. Assembled using solid steel rivets only, these are ready to face hitting and falling during tough sword combat.

The only exception is when you are ordering both armour and padding from our company — in this case you can send us your body measurements. For sabatons please send your footwear actual measurements.
