“Royal Ball” Woolen Skirt
Long skirt with high waistband
Cut on the bias provides this skirt with smooth silhouette. Broad pleats laid under the belt emphasize the waist. Rigid waistband with wide pomegranate trim makes amazing accent at the most narrow part of the stature.
The skirt fastens on the back with plenty of small copper buttons. Buttonholes and the inner side of the waistband are made of flax.
The skirt is custom length. Desired length of the skirt must be specified in the order form. Desired length = length of the product from the bottom of the waistband to the hem. Width of the waistband is about 4 1/2 inches or 12 cm by default, do not include the width of the waistband to the desired length of the skirt.

I wear my skirt regularly during winter. I ordered it so that it would fall at ankle height to make walking easier... but I would love to buy a second skirt for floor length for the stay at home or fancy outing days. Definitely worth the money but I can't quite justify the outlay just yet. Meanwhile I'll just look and drool. :D

Still love my skirt, and wear it often, but keep in mind that if you have a big backside that will affect how the back of the skirt falls (for me, about a couple of inches higher than in the front). I may see if I can work out something that will ameloriate that effect, but in the meantime it's lovely and warm and very beautiful.

Got this skirt in wine as something to wear to my frigid office at work. It's beautiful. Thick, gorgeous wool that's very soft to the touch, and basically like wearing a hug on my legs. Arrived safely and on time from Ukraine to the US, which is nothing to sneeze at in these times of mail and COVID.

I ordered this in black as a winter holiday skirt and it's absolutely lovely. The only thing I regret about my order was the fact that I thought I'd only wear it for special occasions so I ordered it as full out floor length to look good with high heeled boots. I should have ordered it to at least floor-5cm, maybe even ankle length (floor-9cm) Because I repeatedly find myself putting it on in the wintertime with my sensible, sturdy snow insulated boots and then end up having to hike it up (and hiking up a full circle skirt is no puny challenge I can tell all of you who've never tried it) just so I don't trip on it and drag tons of snow and slush around with the hems. Ah, well, I should probably get around to shortening it at some point... but it does look fab with the high heels... and hiking it up is just hard, not actually impossible...

Is it still possible to get this in red wool?

Our position is that the level of comfort at different temperatures is a very individual thing. The skirt is made of wool, which is quite thick and heavy.
Will the gloves ever be available for sale? I have the lovely coat and am hoping to purchase the skirt soon and would love some matching gloves!

what is the difference between the skirt in the pictures and a full circle skirt?
Full circle skirt is flared, it's wider and fuller. The 1/2 circle skirt is very similar, a little less full and requires less material.
