Once upon a time, there were close to no Viking-style items on the ArmStreet website. Hard to believe, right? But it's the pure truth! It was more than a decade ago and just before the first bunch of now-famous Viking clothes, armor, and accessories were unveiled to be further developed into huge collections (even two!) of anything modern Viking would need. Back then, our design department did a terrific job digging through available historical resources to get inspiration and foundation to create our own unique knotworks and motifs fit for period Viking. One of the first items in our Viking era, this etched sword by ArmStreet is now skillfully reproduced by Calimacil to provide you with the LARPing version of our decorative Viking sword. It's hard to tell from pictures, but this richly ornate sword is actually made of foam! We believe that LARP weapons have huge potential in terms of striking appearance, so we are now reimagining some of our best-selling steel decorative weapons as a LARP-safe armory. Perfectly aligned with our Viking collections, this sword turns your casual Viking persona into a battlefield-ready warrior in the blink of an eye. Even the "leather" handle of this foam weapon looks so realistic! What makes Live-action role-play special among the other medieval combat activities? It's way less traumatic, as most participants use both weapons and armor made of foam. That said, you don't have to carry heavy items; you can run, climb, and jump more without worrying about being hit by a rotane stick or a piece of steel. As many LARPers put an incredible amount of work into making their fantasy or historical armor and costumes as elaborate and as beautiful as possible, we are happy to join the party by providing decorated weapons fit for the standards.

This Viking sword is entirely made of foam: the "leather" handle, the "blade" and other parts are all one-piece foam with a fiberglass core.
