This fancy guard sits exactly in between our "Solid Sparring Guard" and the light perforated guard. So, this way it combines the best of two, being 30-40g lighter than the solid one but also way more sturdy than the Perforated high-performance guard without bordering. Also, it looks extremely cool with it's sporty perforated tempered steel body and rope style bordering that connects us to the armored combat age and early experiments with saber guards fancy look.

    Gorgeous guard! I have one in silver colour and won a medal with it :) You should know that a fancy gear is +10 points to your fencing skill ( at least!). I was recommended to combine that guard with a heavy handle, and that's for sure the right combination. 10/10
