HEMA saber "One Standard"

ArmStreet HEMA fencing weapon

"One Standard" saber is a perfectly balanced solution for practically anyone practicing HEMA sabre. ArmStreet has a special connection to this type of weapon, and members of our team are former or recently active fencers in both armored and HEMA fencing, including national champions and Top-100 international HEMA fencers. This saber is a result of almost 4 years of experiments, countless broken blades, hundreds of competitive fights, and tests in three different clubs.

The most important features of this particular design are amazing versatility, with 4 different handles of different weights and grips that could be replaced whenever you need it, and replaceable guards and blades. This allows you to create your own build, adjusting the weight, balance, and appearance.

We currently offer only one blade option, with another one in development. We also offer two types of handles, made of extra-durable and grippy plastic with a rubber component, and two different weight options for each grip. Additionally, we provide several types of guard finishes. The best option we keep in mind is ordering a complete saber with your primary options and adding one or two extra handles for more versatility.

    I’ve been testing the prototype of this saber for about six months now and this is one of my favorite or may be even the most favorite sabre. The blade is relatively flexible but it’s not wobbling and the overall balance is nice even with a heavy guard. Actually, a heavy shell plus light handle is what I use every day now - it’s light but has some “sabre” balance feeling i.e. it’s not overbalanced.
