Well, it wasn't an easy journey. We've been partnering up with HF for a while, selling their products, designing stuff together, and providing our own products. The dream of making an affordable yet functional feder for HEMA in a way that it also feels nice and balanced in the hands came true today. Built on a sturdy HF standard blade, our "One Standard" federschwert provides versatility and interchangeable parts options like no other. Make no mistake, this product is made by fencers for fencers, it's a work tool, not a fancy royal sword that you might've expected from us (this time will come for sure), but we also used all the technologies we have to make it look good and be a great training, sparring and competition weapon. Also, for the countries with stricter regulations and for the air-travels,  being disassemblable makes transportation easier.

The cool thing is that both our "One Standard" Feder and "One Standard" Feder light (not yet available on site, but soon!) have the same tail, so the guards, pommels, and handles are interchangeable, as well as you'll be able to buy another blade if you break it after the warranty period.

The earlier versions of this feder have been a go-to option for the majority of fencers in Ukraine, withstanding the fast and aggressive style of the Eastern European HEMA scene before the shift to lighter swords, so we think this is a perfect training tool for most of the classic German longsword fencers and general HEMA practice scene. Also, we made our best designing and testing various handles - all of them are made of our signature two-component extra-durable plastic that provides an excellent grip. It has a finish that imitates traditional wraps: cord, rope, or leather strip.
