Another update in the line of basic armour by ArmStreet is simple and universal knee cops! Thick stainless steel, smooth polishing, and round side rondel - what else your knees need to feel safe and happy? Besides, they are affordable, especially compared to any medical manipulation over damaged ligament or knee-cap, touch wood.

Knee cops were one of the first components of plate armor, came into use with the development of leg harness. Early European chainmail chausses failed to protect this vulnerable joint sufficiently, so the knee cup was additionally covered with a full leather pad, reinforced with metal stripes. However those were primitive and uncomfortable, thus all-metal poleyns with buckled straps replaced them in the mid 13th century. Subsequently, they underwent only cosmetic transformations: supplied with side rondels of different shapes or with additional movable segments, their core was kept unchanged until the 17th century.

Universal piece for many types of armour - till now there's no better way to protect your knees, especially if you are alien to all sorts of trinkets. Fully adjustable straps with buckles are included. Reduce the risk of stretching and prevent common injuries when going into rough combat.
