Hello, I'm interested in the arm armor for the lady warrior as well as the "padded jacket hound of war". I would wear them together for SCA Cut and Thrust. -How do I measure myself if I want to wear it over a padded gambeson? -Does it meet requirements/recommendations for SCA CUT AND THRUST? -Is the wrist (demi-gauntlet) part flexible and can you cock your wrist back? If not, is there any way to shorten that part, sell it separately, or leave it out all together? I'd be wearing gloves over the top of the forearm protection, but under the separate demi gauntlet- Unless the glove + gambeson could fit under the forearm protection and rigid pieces alltogether. I have to wear 2 different types of gloves depending on the weapon I use- I'd use the separate demi gauntlet over a padded glove for sabre, but gauntlets with no demi-gauntlet for Longsword- which is why I'd want a removable piece. -For the "padded jacket hound of war"- does that meet SCA puncture proof requirements? -How warm is it? I'm a very athletic fencer- so I get pretty warm and sweaty.

    ArmStreet Team:

Hi Erin! Yes, our armor and gambesons are SCA legal.

If you purchase the armor and gamebson in our store, then please simply send us your actual measurements and we will make the armor to fit over the padding. Kindly specify which demi-gauntlets you like. Our gambesons are made of natural wool and linen, which cannot be puncture proof. However, canvas gambeson should work.

  • Corey Brockway 19 of February 2018:

Can these be made with fingers? Or a way to secure the palm guard to your hand better? Im planning to use these for weapon training but dont know what to do about the fingers.

    ArmStreet Team:

Hi Corey, it is not possible to make them with finder protection, sorry. Gauntlets should be purchased separately.

  • Corey Brockway 23 of January 2018:

Can you order just the forearm piece with the palm protectors? I don't want the elbow or upper arm pieces. What would be price difference.

    ArmStreet Team:

Hi Corey, yes the price is $269 plus $28 for shipping.

  • Souventine 28 of December 2015:

Are these guards SCA approved? And is there a discount for no etching?

    ArmStreet Team:

Hi Souventine, yes they are SCA legal and we can make 5% discount additionally for removing the etching.

  • Emely Cruz 06 of October 2015:

If i were to purchase this, would i receive a pair or would i only receive one "fantasy arm"?

    ArmStreet team:

This listing is for a pair (two armor arms) - left arm and right arm. Welcome!

  • Jordan 24 of March 2015:

hey im looking at the Fantasy Arms Armour “Lady Warrior” Im a guy but think this design is kick ass regardless of the female title haha few questions can this be made for a guy? Also would it be possible to get this made without the big circle plate attached on the elbow? i want the piece just seperatly with it not attached? can you add buckle straps instead of laceups for fastening the arms? let me know what you think?

    ArmStreet team:

Of course, the arms can be made for a guy.
To keep the rondel unattached - yes, this option is free.
To replace the laceups with buckle straps - $20 extra, simply add a comment to your order, and we'll send an invoice for the extra charge.

  • Syhann 02 of March 2013:

I love the etchings you put on the armor! However, I was wondering if there was any way if you could put different etchings you have available on different armor. Such as the wolf and moon onto the woman fantasy armor or vice versa. Thanks :)

    ArmStreet Team:

Hi Syhann, yes custom etching is possible. Please contact our support team for more details.
