Our “Water Flowers” collection is a new line of items so beautiful and ethereal, you have really have to see them to understand! Fitted dresses with flowing skirts that swish when you walk, perfectly polished brass accessories accented with a pop of enamel, and the twisting shapes of flowers and leaves…. It’s no wonder that it was all inspired by the elves!

This pin is modeled after a medieval fibula, which is a strong pin that you would use to hold your cloak closed or accessorize your outfit. They’re a great addition to any collection because they not only look fantastic but are also very functional. Our concept artist dreamt up this pin when she was researching elves, art nouveau, and water gardens, so this isn’t a design you’re going to find anywhere else!

This fibula is made from shiny brass and resembles elven leaves, with a twisting shape going up the middle that you can find on our circlets and other accessories. This piece really fits in well with the rest of the collection but is also strong enough to stand out on its own as a feature. We know that it will look at home with any fantasy or medieval costume.

After being designed by our artist, the frame for this fibula is laser-cut from 1.5mm brass in our blacksmithing workshop, before being given to our resident jeweler to finish it off. In the jewelry studio it is laboriously hand-finished to ensure neat edges and filled with enamel to add contrast. Each and every fibula is made with great care and attention to detail, so you can rest easy knowing you’re going to get a truly artisanal product.
